When Procedures Are Performed
Vasectomy procedures are performed on selected Wednesday Thursdays and Fridays
Clinic hours are generally 9:00am – 5:00pm, excluding public holidays
Appointments are limited and scheduled in advance.
Information Required at the Time of Booking
When contacting the practice, you may be asked to provide:
Full name
Date of birth
Contact phone number and email address
Medicare card details (if applicable)
Brief relevant medical history (including medications such as blood thinners)
This information assists in confirming suitability and planning the appointment.
Before Your Appointment
Prior to your booked procedure, you will be provided ( emailed)
Pre-operative instructions ( SHAVE and Body wash)
A consent form to read, complete and bring with you
Information regarding fees and Medicare rebates
No fasting is required.
Payment & Cancellations
Payment is made on the day of the procedure
Medicare rebates are processed at the time of attendance (where applicable)
Appointments may be cancelled without penalty with at least 48 hours’ notice

Important Notes
Vasectomy is intended to be a permanent form of contraception
Sterility is not immediate
Post-vasectomy semen testing is required before contraception can be discontinued
These matters will be discussed prior to treatment.
